Linda L. Gray is a fifth generation Washingtonian, who resides in Ward 4. She is the current Vice Chair of the DC Democratic Party and a Ward 4 Committeewoman of the DC Democratic State Committee. Also serving as a member of the DNC, her interests have driven her to become a member of the Women’s Caucus, the Black Caucus and the Environmental Caucus.
Prior to becoming an officer of the DC Democratic Party, Linda has been a member of the DC Democratic State Committee representing the Federation of Democratic Women, a two term add-on member and Ward Committeewoman. She has been the chair of the Voter Education and Outreach Committee, the Bylaws Committee, the Kennedy- King Fundraising Committee and served as Chairperson for the State Committee’s Unity Retreat.
In 2012 Linda was part of the team to manage the delegation for the DNC Convention for DC. In 2016, Linda was a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention for Hilary Clinton and in 2022 a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention for Joe Biden.
In her professional career, Linda is a former Biology Teacher ( McKinley Tech), a former chair of the Science Department (McKinley Tech), a former Assistant Principal and Interim Principal (Roosevelt Sr High) and now a retired Principal (Roosevelt STAY). She always states that being an educator is the gift that keeps on giving.
